“Whoosh. He calls it whoosh. All-day, every day, ‘Mama I go whoosh,’” his mother Alexzandria Hopkins told CBS13.

Footage shows the 2-year-old riding his board at the Power Inn skatepark. Brody is able to maintain his balance as he rides down slopes without any help. The little one only struggles to get his skateboard up the slope, but that just comes with have tiny legs.

Brody started skating when he was just 1 year old, but he didn’t really get into it until quarantine.

The hobby came unexpectedly after his father Shayne Dillynger lost his food industry job during the outbreak. But now the family spends a lot more time at the skate park and Brody’s growth has become exponential. In fact, Hopkins and Dillynger say it has been quite “nervewracking” and a “little intense” since Brody spends about five hours on his board a day.

“Being by his side watching his progression is just absolutely amazing,” Dillynger said.

Since the pandemic, Tiny Hawk has amassed 331,000 followers on TikTok and a growing following on Instagram.

“Tiny Hawk, born out of quarantine really,” Dillynger said. “What an amazing tale, over the past four months we’ve created a TikTok that’s gone viral. [I’m] so proud, I can’t believe all this is happening. So proud of my son.”

As for what the family has in store for Brody’s future? Well, they can’t wait to get him a snowboard this winter.
